Customer service here has completely dropped off. I've been in 3 times this week and have been disappointed twice. When you call on the phone the service is efficient but not polite, I'm not asking much here, but a little pleasantness goes a long way. Then once inside customer service is found only if you track down and ask someone, which is as difficult as the big box stores, customer service used to be the only reason I came to this store. When I did find someone they simply pointed me to the item rather than helping me find what I needed or asking me what I was working on to further help me with the project or offer advice on products. When I came in yesterday to pick up my rental the service was adequate and the rental counter attendant helped me load my car. However, this morning I returned my rental here and it took almost an hour. The path to the returns door was blocked by trucks. I took my 2 kids in to the store and when I asked in the store how to return my item, I was told "I could lay on the horn until they moved". So I went back out, strapped my kids in their seats and waited, once I could get up to the door, no one helped remove the rental from my car nor help me carry my return into the store, I had two small children with me, one an infant, and I'm a smaller woman, I really could have used some help. At the counter someone took 1 part of my return away and then someone else came up to help me and accusingly asked me where the other half of my return is. During this I was also asked to move my vehicle while I was returning my item because apparently I was blocking the door. So I moved my car, having to strap my two kids in and then get them back out. When I came back in it took nearly ten more minutes to finish my return. Then once I finally left, my way was blocked by a UPS truck, of course. I've rented here several times, and this was my main place to by paint, but I'm not coming back, I'll go to the big box store closer to my house.
